Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 fame Gautam Singh Vig is the latest contestant to get evicted from the reality show Bigg Boss 16. In yesterday’s episode, host Salman Khan left everyone shocked after he announced Gautam’s eviction from the house. Now, when he has got eliminated, SpotboyE got in touch with him to know his thoughts about his shocking eviction and we also asked him about Shalin Bhanot’s sexist remark towards him.
For the unversed, in the captaincy task, Shalin called Gautam a woman and even said that because he is a woman, he is weak so he shouldn't be in the race for the captaincy. Bhanot received severe backlash from fans and celebs like Gauahar Khan for calling women weak. Now, Gautam reacted to this and said it clearly shows Shalin’s cheap mindset towards women. He shared with us, “That clearly shows his mindset, how cheap is his mind towards women. Ik jaga pe vo aurto ko izzat dene ki baat krte hai and then he talks all this bullshit about women. Women are the pride in themselves. Shalin auratoh ko kamzor samjhte hai and this shows his mentality, his opinion about women is disgusting. Talking about his eviction, Gautam stated he is both shocked and sad as he was not expecting to get eliminated so early from the show. “I am very shocked and sad, I was not expecting this. Honestly, everyone was expecting it would be Tina or might be Soundarya but there was no clue of me getting evicted so early in the seventh week. I think jin logo nai meko nominate kiya tha they were actually scared that their truth will come out so they wanted me to eliminate,” Gautam added.
Interestingly, Gautam left no stone unturned to be seen on the show. He established himself as the second captain of the house after Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. His strong camaraderie and close proximity with Soundarya Sharma grabbed many eyeballs in the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ house. They dealt with claims that their connection is fake, and that Gautam is taking advantage of Soundarya for his personal gain. Due to his less involvement in the house and lack of audience support, Gautam had to bid adieu to Bigg Boss 16.
